The Autistic Self Advocacy Network is run by and for autistic people. It is a non profit organization that seeks to advance the principles of the disability rights movement in regards to autism. You will also find other helpful resources relating to autism such as information, books and more!
The Autism Society of America (ASA) was founded in 1965 by Dr. Bernard, Dr Ruth Sullivan and many other parents living with autism. It exists to help improve the lives of people living on the autism spectrum. ASA has done and continues to do a numerous amount of work for the autism community such as pieces of federal, state and local legislation, conferences and more.
The Art Of Autism mission is to empower and connect individuals within the autism community through participation in the Arts. It also hopes to encourage independence, self esteem and artistic expression by supporting those who participate in The Art Of Autism Project. Here you will find a variety of paintings, poetry, musical art and other work in the arts by people living on the autism spectrum. You will also find many other autism related resources.
